Apps4N3rds is a newly established site and wishes to remain family friendly. In order to keep the forums running well and to prevent problems, please follow these simple rules for the forums here. If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to contact one of the Staff Members.

General Rules

While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless, inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.

Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the like.

Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.

Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum, email, visitor messages, blog comments, picture comments and private message systems to spam other members.

Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts. For style changes and general 'how-to' questions this should be 24 hours. For specific troubleshooting issues, use 12 hours as a guideline.

We also do not allow posts or links to sites that are sexual in nature or violate family friendly community standards. The Apps4N3rds Moderators shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.

Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.

Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed. If you were banned or given a temporary forum time-out, you may not reregister. Reinstatement can come only from an administrator or moderator.

We would appreciate it if you refrain from blatant bashing of other boards.

We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice (although a Moderator will usually give a reason and a warning if deemed necessary).

If you are going to post non-English on these forums, please also post an English Translation of your post.

Posts arguing about forum policies are not allowed. You can fill out a support ticket if you have issue with our policies.

Posts discussing moderator actions are also not allowed. Please take your issues up with the Moderator personally or contact the Admin.

Posting of any affiliate or referral links will be subject to review and may be removed.

We also reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules, as access to our support forums are a privilege and not a right. A banned customer is still entitled to support from the support system.

Harassment and personal attacks publicly or privately shall not be tolerated. Purposely intimidating a particular member, booty them, sending them rude or unwanted private messages, etc. This includes personal attacks on moderators and administrators for doing their jobs.

Defamatory, racist, hateful, pornographic, illegal or insulting content must be avoided on this forum. You must respect the fact that people may have a different opinion than you.

There is zero tolerance for use of extreme vulgar language.

Impersonating or attempting to impersonate another user, moderator or admin id not allowed. Please be courteous and act like an adult.

Advertising Services and Solicitation

We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages or emails to users here that advertise or solicit any products, services, funds or donations. Explicit advertising and solicitating in signatures is also prohibited (unless authorized by a Moderator).

We do not allow selling of any of the products provided at Apps4N3rds as we offer these free of charge. You may download the products as much as you like and share them with your friends as long as you are not making a profit off of them.

You cannot post advertisements or notices for contests without consent from the Admin.

Signature Guidelines

Linking to a commercial product/service is fine as long as you have the approval of a Moderator.

Links must reference a clean, legit site free of malware and virus's to protect the users of the community from malicious code.

A link and promotional text for a site that is not commercial and does not contain product(s) and/or service(s) is allowed, provided the site is not sexual or does not violate Apps4N3rds community standards. The Apps4N3rds team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards. (Examples include sites about drugs and/or sex.)

Duplicate links to the same URL in a signature are not allowed.

Avatars

Avatars that may be confused with official staff avatars are not allowed.

Avatars containing illegal or obscene content are not allowed. Please don't use an avatar that you wouldn't want your grandmother to see.

Signatures have a 500 word limit (including HTML and BBCode), but please be considerate of the space you will be using. This goes for images too.

General Discussion forum

The General Discussion forum is where members of Apps4N3rds can gather to chat about almost anything, technical or non-technical in nature. If you have a question that doesn't fit into any other forum, or just want to chat, this is the place to do it.

Moderation

Although the administrators and moderators of the Apps4N3rds Forum will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of Apps4N3rds Forum, nor Devin Stevens (Administrator of the forum and developer of the projects) will be held responsible for the content of any message.

The Administrators and Moderators of Apps4N3rds Forum reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

Staff Disputes

Any disputes with the staff of the Apps4N3rds Forums will be handled in private through the Private Message System or the Help & Support System.

Addendum

While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.We reserve the right to update and modify these rules as the needs of the community dictate to ensure the smooth operation of this community.

If any of the above mentioned or any other problematic issues arise, please Private Message an Admin or a Moderator to take care of the problem. All messages to moderators and admins will remain confidential and we will not give out your information.

By registering as a member, you accept the terms and warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws here-by posted.
